Family Participation
Our cooperative program offers you the unique opportunity to be involved in your child's school experience. It is a great way to see how your child is learning and growing at school!
Each family brings unique strengths and experiences to our program. Each family supports our program with their time and talents in the following ways:
Families are also welcome to apply to be a regular weekly assistant in the classroom. Parent assistants are scheduled to work on the same day each week and they receive a tuition discount for volunteering their time.
Anyone who plans to spend time in the classroom must submit the "Authorization for Background Check" forms.

- A member of each family must choose to serve on the Executive Board, volunteer to be a member of a committee or sign up for a classroom job. View our available support roles by clicking here.
- Families provide snacks throughout the year.
- Each family plans to spend time in the classroom at least 3 times during the school year. Plan to come in to celebrate your child's birthday and at least one more day each semester.
